My friend asked me today if I would rather be a bird or a fish.
I immediately responded with bird, because wanderlust hits me hard fairly often, and the ability to just pick up and move across the country at the drop of a hat would be wonderful. Also you wouldn't have to breathe your own urine.
I think I just want to fly.
It's pretty simple. Maybe BASE jump? I don't know if I have the balls for that, but it'd be exhilarating.

Entirety?
I just figured out today how to use RSS Feeds, my Apple Mail has been totally redefined.
I have been thinking about teaching again. I guess that doesn't mean a whole lot. I've been thinking about West Point a lot too. Doesn't necessarily mean I'll act, but the thoughts are definitely there.
I'm also trying to be more decisive and less scatterbrained, like actively listening to an entire cd instead of skipping through the tracks when I get bored. Also reading for extended periods of time and talking and walking deliberately and slowly.
"One small step for me, one giant leap for social interaction" sort of idea.

Queues
I always feel like the line for anything gets longer right after I get to the front.
Not all the time, just most of the time.
Like in restaurants. Or food lines. Or the DMV.
I wonder if there are people that go through life in the middle of lines.
Or even at the end.
Though I guess they'd never know it.

Also, I have a key to the observatory. And a grappling hook.
I can't taste anything.
Tea just hurts now.
I think I'm gonna look at the stars.
Discover a galaxy, name it after an obscure mathematician, or a Pokémon or something.
It's taking a lot more than usual to make me really happy. I am trying though, really hard. That's gotta count for something?

Haha I don't know why, but this entire music video makes me laugh, nonstop.
Also, I want to get my pilot's license/be an astronaut.
More philosophical musings next time.

Tea and honey
Cities are designed for effortless movement, the grid system easily allowing identification and travel. The grid system in New York being among the more famous, I've noticed that the farther west you go, the more the grid seems to break down, the roads curve, merge, and one-ways run parallel.
The sheer size of most major cities, St. Paul and Minneapolis included, I personally feel ropes you in, makes it impossible for you to escape.
I was worried about that when I was applying to colleges, that I wouldn't be able to escape campus and the surrounding type of landscape, in this case city.
I think what I'm trying to say is that wanderlust is hitting me harder and faster than ever before and restlessness will probably be my undoing.
I just need to escape sometimes.

Classes are starting up, once again.
It poured last night, and as I biked through it, I war whooped and hollered once again, like I used to on midnight rain-runs.
Part of it was exactly the same, the yells against nature still echoed, but the steering was a bit wobbly and the tires flat.
Nothing can ever be easy, and rightfully so.

I seem to be frustrated with just about everyone surrounding me lately. Pretty randomly too, they really don't deserve it.
I've also been drinking a lot of tea and sleeping superfluous amounts. I suppose it could be said that I am recharging my batteries as classes start in 2 days.
Either way, I have Vernors and orange soda in my fridge. Nothing can touch me now, my self-esteem is protected by carbonated sodas.
It's really very sad how reliant we are for technological representations of ourselves.
I suppose I'm only adding to the pool, but I'll still write to myself in an analog fashion.
